'Tis the season! If you're ready to jump right into the holiday season with your kiddo, then join us for a parent-child workshop where you both will share the experience of creating gingerbread houses! Use them as festive decor all December on your mantel, as a centerpiece for your dining room table, add them to your festive village, or simply enjoy the beauty of your creations. You will be taking home two gingerbread houses, fully decorated to your heart's content! If you're quick at building the house, make trees and gingerbread man accessories to add even more charm to your houses! Our Kids’ Classes have been designed to enrich your child’s creativity through artistic exploration. As a bonus, as the parent, you also get to enrich your OWN creativity with playing in clay. You will both learn how to construct a small house using the slab technique in hand building. After the week for glazing, the pieces will be glaze fired and ready for pickup approximately 2-3 weeks after your initial workshop. Then you can enjoy your houses FOREVER! Project Schedule: November 9 ~ Building Gingerbread Houses November 16 ~ Glazing Gingerbread Houses This workshop registration counts for BOTH child and parent, no need to register twice. Please ensure you fill out the intake form you receive via email with the parent's information who will be accompanying them. Since this workshop is parent-supervised, please refrain from bringing "observers" as studio space is limited.
