It’s the jolliest time of the year and we’re ready to help you make the most amazing, customized, flat ornaments for your tree or as gifts for loved ones. Become inspired by the photos that feature some of the lovely ornaments that were created in this very popular workshop last year! There is no limit to the number of pieces you can create, only the 2-hour class time. We have a plethora of holiday and general shaped cookie cutters for you to use, as well as many ways to create textures and patterns to add dimension to your ornaments. If you have specific shapes, patterns or textures that you would like to use, please feel free to bring them into the studio during your workshop to add that extra bit of personalization. Create the pieces that are in your mind-palace and be proud of your newly hand-crafted ornaments this holiday season! This workshop has been scheduled to be able to have your pieces finished and home in time for the holidays. In this workshop you will learn: - Rolling and cutting slabs - Surface finishing - Decoration with stamps and texture After this workshop your piece will be bisque fired and then you can return to glaze the piece during one of our "Glazing 101" workshops which is included in the cost of your class! It is a one-hour intro to glazing that will teach you how to glaze the piece you’ve made. Alternatively, you may choose a single color that we will glaze for you. After glazing, the piece will be fired in our kiln, and you can expect your piece to be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after you have glazed. The sooner you come back to glaze, the sooner you will have your pieces! We will always contact you for pickup.
