It's that time of year to get into the spooky season! Costumes are chosen, pillowcases are ready to be stuffed full of candy, and we're prepped to jump right in with you! Our Kids’ Classes have been designed to enrich your child’s creativity through artistic exploration. Each week brings a unique project to keep your child continually interested and engaged! These creative classes make the perfect activity to keep your little one in a routine, or as a wonderful exercise in young talent and creativity! Over their weeks of projects, they will exercise their skills in: creative problem solving, memory and concentration, hand-eye coordination, visual perception, pattern and colour recognition and many more incredibly beneficial skills for their growth! Focusing on the pinch pot method of hand building, Halloween projects can be anything from a customized little monster, to hanging bat, to spooky candy bowl and beyond! All materials and instruction are always included in our workshop fees. Part of our kid's classes running in the fall, we have a brand-NEW painting workshop that will introduce your child to watercolour! Watercolour painting can often create dramatic, colourful artworks, we will be focusing on creating amazing galaxies in paint. Project Schedule: October 5 ~ Watercolour Painting October 19 ~ Halloween Clay: Pinch Pot Technique October 26 ~ Pumpkin Painting: Acrylic painting 1 gourd or pumpkin November 2 ~ Glazing Halloween Projects Children under six years old should be accompanied by an adult unless they are able to be left with their instructor with no behavioral support. This is to reduce class distractions, to keep class fun and make sure everyone is learning. A parent is welcome to stay without participating in the class to act as guidance or provide assistance during instruction.
