Each piece becomes a reflection of your imagination, perfect for your home or as a thoughtful, enchanted gift. There are no rules in this workshop so let your ideas flow like the tide, explore shapes, textures, and patterns, and bring your unique vision to life. Your creations will carry a little of the ocean’s magic, turning clay into whimsical creatures infused with creativity, wonder, and the spirit of the sea. Begin your workshop by choosing from our three different colours of clay; white, speckled buff, or our seasonal feature clay. Then come back to decorate your new sea life with over 100 colour choices! All materials and instruction are always included in our workshop fees, so bring your best ideas and your patient instructor will help you along every step of the way! It is a 1.5 hour intro to glazing that will teach you how to glaze the piece you have made. Alternatively, you may choose a single colour that we will glaze for you. After glazing, the piece will be fired in our kiln, and you can expect your piece to be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after you have glazed. The sooner you come back to glaze, the sooner you will have your pieces! We will always contact you for pickup. Our clay discovery classes have been curated to teach a basic technique of hand building. You will be amazed with what you can make with just your hands and some clay! This is a great introduction to pottery without making a multi-week commitment.
