Have you seen the Frozen Pond Glazing technique on Pinterest? This workshop allows our more experienced clients to use our pre-approved glaze combinations to achieve spectacular, dimensional results on the surface of their piece and learn this technique. This is a limited event and this glazing technique is not approved for everyday use in the studio due to the uncontrolled dripping that can occur on vertical services. In this class, we will have step by step instructions and 4 glaze colour combinations to choose from to learn the FROZEN POND Technique! There are 4 exclusive combos created for this workshop. It is a 1.5 hour class to teach you how to glaze the piece(s) you have made with this SPECIFIC technique. You will need to bring your own bisque fired pieces, either small plates or very shallow bowls. At this time, the technique can be used on the inside of the bowls, but not the outside. We are currently testing how to glaze vertical surfaces without excessive running. After glazing, the piece(s) will be fired and you can expect them to be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after class.
