Then come back to decorate your new Mug with Personality with our over 100 colour choices! All materials and instruction are always included in our workshop fees, so bring your best ideas and your patient instructor will help you along every step of the way! In this workshop you will learn how to: ~ Roll out a clay slab ~ Create a slab cylinder ~ Attach a base using scratch and slip ~ Create simple handles ~ Sculpt features to add to your mug ~ Finish surfaces to minimize harsh edges ~ Decorate with stamps, carving, and glazes After this workshop your piece will be bisque fired and then you can return to glaze during one of our glazing workshops included in the cost of your class! It is a 1.5 hour intro to glazing that will teach you how to glaze the piece(s) you have made. After glazing, the piece(s) will be fired in our kiln, and you can expect them to be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after you have glazed. The sooner you come back to glaze, the sooner you can take them home to enjoy! We will always contact you for pickup. Our clay discovery classes have been curated to teach the basics of hand building. You will be amazed with what you can make with just your hands and some clay! All discovery classes are adaptable for beginners or those with more advanced skills and experience.
