“I have too much jewellery!” ~ said no one, ever Explore ceramic beads, bracelets and pendants out of clay by creating your very own completely customizable pieces to string together the most unique jewellery ever! We will be making stunning pendants with different tools and textures, along with beads to make beautiful and wearable pieces for you or to give to loved ones. Even better, have your loved one tag along to enjoy playing in clay with you! Begin your workshop by choosing from our three different colours of clay; white, speckled buff, or our seasonal feature clay and then decorate your new beads with over 100 colour choices! All materials and instruction are always included in our workshop fees, so bring your best ideas and your patient instructor will help you along every step of the way! In this workshop you will: ~ Create your own beads and pendants using stoneware clay ~ Use different techniques to add interesting textures ~ Cut out unique shapes to define your own style After this workshop your pieces will be bisque fired and then you can return to glaze the piece during one of our "Glazing 101" workshops which is included in the cost of your class! It is a 1.5 hour intro to glazing that will teach you how to glaze the piece you have made. After glazing, the piece will be fired in our kiln, and you can expect your piece to be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after you have glazed. The sooner you come back to glaze, the sooner you will have your pieces! We will always contact you for pickup. Our clay discovery classes have been curated to teach a basic technique of hand building. You will be amazed with what you can make with just your hands and some clay!
