BEGINNER FRIENDLY! This is a relaxed, 2 hour hands-on experience where you’ll leave with something unique and entirely your own. All materials provided. Small class size (8 students) and patient instructors. PART 1 - Vancouver Island's coastline offers more than beauty... it offers gifts! Weathered stones that have been tumbled smooth by waves and time feel like quiet blessings from the sea. In this workshop, we’ll honour these natural treasures by wrapping them in clay, capturing their essence and form. Once released, what remains is a beach rock bowl that is organic, textured, and deeply connected to the land and water that inspired it. Keep your piece simple, carve sacred patterns, or combine bowls into a multi-dimensional vessel. Each piece is a collaboration with nature connected by earth, water, and your own hands. Depending on size, you may have time to create two bowls.
