The Eccentric Artist Studio
Home of Noteworthy Artistic Journeys! Step inside and expect Eccentric. Our beginner-friendly hand building classes are a gentle initiation into get your hands dirty while finding your way.. Here, creativity is coaxed, not rushed. You will be encouraged to stretch, soften, and shape your skills at your own pace as you wander deeper into the world of ceramic making. The studio hums with that hard-to-name energy, part ritual, part play, all eccentric. Come make with your kind of humans, laugh a little, listen to the clay, and leave feeling more grounded than when you arrived.
We currently offer three-hour workshops on Thursdays, and two-hour ceramics workshops on Friday or Saturday, and ongoing beginner-level hand building courses starting again on Tuesdays in Sept 2026. If you would rather bring your own group and party in the studio, book a 2 or 3-hour special event where you get to choose your own project! We can’t wait to see what you create with us in The Eccentric Artist Studio!
Our Teaching Philosphy
We typically lean towards a more student-driven approach to teaching. In each class or workshop, you will be taught a creative technique, however you are not required to follow our class example. We would prefer that you go home with something you LOVE rather than something you were "put in a box" to create. We are here to boost you and your creativity - not to limit you!
We expect all students to show up on time because our classes start on time. If you need to complete payment beforehand, please come early so that we may begin class on time.
