BEGINNER FRIENDLY. PERFECT FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT TOUCHED CLAY BEFORE. This is a relaxed, 2-hour hands-on experience where you’ll leave with something unique and entirely your own. All materials provided. Small class size and patient instructors. PART 1 - Smoke has long been used to mark transitions, set intentions, and soften the edges of a day. In this workshop, you’ll shape your own ceramic incense burner by hand, creating a piece that feels both functional and quietly ritualistic. Explore texture, carving, and form as you design something ranging from minimal and modern to earthy and eccentric. Whether it lives beside a meditation cushion, bathtub, altar, or morning coffee, this handmade piece brings a small moment of ceremony into everyday life. Depending on size and complexity, you will have enough time to create up to two burners, designed to hold stick or cone incense, one to keep for your own rituals and one to gift as a blessing. Your finished piece will be ready in 2–3 weeks.
