BEGINNER FRIENDLY BUT NOT BEGINNER ONLY! EVERYONE WILL LEARN SOMETHING AND HAVE SOME FUN. This is a relaxed, 2-hour hands-on experience where you’ll leave with something unique and entirely your own. All materials provided. Small class size (8 people) and patient instructors. PART 1 - You know those traditional Christmas villages with their little houses, snowy streets, skating rinks and suspiciously well-organized train tracks? We’ve taken the whole idea and shrunk it down to a ridiculous little scale. In this workshop, you’ll hand-build your own collection of tiny ceramic houses, trees and other village bits and pieces. Arrange them into a miniature holiday world that reflects your particular version of Christmas — orderly, wonky, charming, slightly strange, or somewhere in between. You can attach your village to a base and give it a permanent address, or keep the pieces loose so you can rearrange your tiny kingdom whenever the mood strikes. And yes, the pieces are really tiny. You may find yourself becoming surprisingly invested in the architectural decisions of a house that fits in the palm of your hand. We’ve scheduled this workshop early enough in the season for your little village to be finished, glazed and ready to come home in time for the holidays.
