BEGINNER FRIENDLY. This is a relaxed, 2 hour hands-on experience where you’ll leave with something unique and entirely your own. All materials provided. Small class size (8 students) and patient instructors. PART 1 - Sometimes the simplest of pieces can make all the difference in your surroundings. Why should soap have to live on a boring little plastic tray? In this hands-on pottery class, you’ll make two to three soap dishes, each one with its own shape, texture and personality. Play with simple handbuilding techniques, experiment with drainage, add carving or stamped details, or keep things beautifully simple — there’s no need for them all to match. Think of them as tiny functional sculptures for the places you use every day. A little colour, an interesting edge, a bit of texture... sometimes it’s the small handmade things that make a space feel more like yours. We’ll guide you through the process from clay to glaze, and you’ll leave with a few useful pieces that are decidedly more interesting than the average soap dish.
