BEGINNER FRIENDLY. PERFECT FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT TOUCHED CLAY BEFORE. This is a relaxed, 2-hour hands-on experience where you’ll leave with something unique and entirely your own. All materials provided. Small class size and patient instructors. PART 1 - A chilled bottle, a gathered table, and small handmade details that make the evening feel memorable. In this workshop, you’ll create a ceramic wine cooler designed to cradle your favourite bottle while also crafting a set of distinctive clay wine glass charms to keep every guest’s glass beautifully marked. Shape, texture, stamp, and decorate your pieces with rustic elegance, playful symbolism, or modern simplicity; each set becoming uniquely yours. This class blends functional pottery with the art of entertaining. Your finished pieces will accompany celebrations, quiet evenings, and stories shared long after the wine is gone. In this class you will learn how to: - Make small charms to hang on glasses - Roll and cut slabs - Create a cylinder from a slab - Attach a base using scratch and slip - Finish surfaces to minimize harsh edges - Use texture and glaze to personalize your pieces You can copy and paste this link into your browser to check out our Pinterest page for even more mug inspiration: (https://ca.pinterest.com/eccentricartiststudio/class-inspo/wine-cooler/) PART 2 - GLAZING: After your workshop, return for a glazing session (included).
