BEGINNER FRIENDLY. PERFECT FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEVER TOUCHED CLAY BEFORE. This is a relaxed, 2-hour hands-on experience where you’ll leave with something unique and entirely your own. All materials provided. Small class size (8 students) and patient instructors. PART 1 - Some plants are perfectly ordinary. This workshop is not for them. In this delightfully eccentric clay session, you'll hand build a ceramic planter worthy of your most dramatic fern, mysterious succulent, or slightly judgmental pothos. Shape, carve, texture, and embellish your pot with as much character as you dare, creating a vessel that feels more like a tiny habitat than a container. Finish it with your choice of glaze, and leave with a one-of-a-kind ceramic home ready to nurture whatever green oddity captures your heart. In this workshop you will learn: - How to construct a vessel using the slab technique - Creating drainage holes and feet - Decorating techniques and glazing PART 2 - GLAZING: After your workshop, return for a glazing session (included).
