BEGINNER-FRIENDLY WORKSHOP • NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED This is a relaxed, 2-hour hands-on experience where you’ll leave with something unique and entirely your own. All materials provided. Small class size (8 students) and patient instructors. PART 1 - As part of our Wheel of the Year series, create a sacred smoke bundle and ceramic altar dish to use in your own spiritual, ceremonial or ritual practices. There is something quietly satisfying about making the tools that accompany your own ceremonies, whether elaborate or wonderfully improvised. This workshop invites you to craft an organic bowl designed to hold herbs, incense, offerings, intentions, or the small but meaningful treasures gathered along your seasonal path. You will also create a functional smoke bundle in the old tradition of gathering useful plants into a single purposeful form and learning about their traditional uses through the ages. Whether displayed on your altar, used in seasonal rituals, or simply admired for its beauty, the bundle becomes a tangible reminder of the season's gifts. To create an altar dish, you’ll work with natural beach rocks as collaborators. Shape clay around the stone’s unique texture to create an organically formed altar dish, a vessel born from earth meeting earth. Shape your pieces with symbols, textures, and markings that reflect the sabbat, season, or personal practice that calls to you. As the clay transforms through fire, your creations become lasting companions for reflection, celebration, and connection to the rhythms of the year. Each piece will emerge uniquely yours, carrying the character of both earth and season.
