Please read all of the information found on our Open Studio page before booking for the first time! $20/hour includes: • Access to over 100 glazes! • Access to our ever-growing collection of studio tools! • All firings, bisque (if made in O/S), glaze (if glazed in O/S) We have clay available for purchase by the kilo, bag, or box. Whether you are hand building or throwing on the wheel, you will never run out of clay! Prices range from $5-6 per kilo depending on the clay. We currently carry: Plainsman’s M340S, M370 and Clay Art Center's MAC6 Porcelain (limited feature until April 30th). _________________________________________________________________________________________ To rent half a table for hand building or glazing, it will be our normal $20/hour rate. If no one else has booked the other half of the table you are working on, then you are welcome to spread out and use the entire space! Please be mindful of studio staff and other patrons while you do this. If there are many Open Studio participants, we will ask you to move your work to stay within your booked space. If you would rather book an entire table for yourself to hand build or glaze, it will be at a $30/hour rate. If you prefer an entire table, please book two half tables online and it will say $40/hour, however, as it is not charged online you can ignore this for now. We will charge you the appropriate $30/hour table rate once you are finished for the day. Tables and half-tables in the studio are not assigned by number and are filled on a first-come-first-serve basis. We always keep one table free for general studio and staff use. You are welcome to communicate with fellow Open Studio participants to make the most usage of tables and space, we just ask that you book your two participants for a single table at the same time to take advantage of our $30/hour full-table rate. Maximum size for a piece created in Open Studio without incurring additional firing fees is 9"x9"x9" or 729 cubed inches.
