The Coolest Ramen Bowls EVER

We get the privilege of hosting wonderful ceramic hand building workshops that ANYONE is welcome to take, no matter their experience! The best part is seeing how each person takes their project and runs with it; adding amazing textures,
patterns, and features that turn their lump of mud into a fabulously functional piece. Luckily this workshop runs at least once a month so that those who miss out can join another time, AND we don't have to go without seeing these amazing pieces come alive in the studio for too long at a time!
Since we have a crazy huge selection of glazes, every time we unload pieces from the kiln it is a wonderful surprise. We love seeing which colours our students have chosen to emphasize their patterns, whether they be simple or more complex.
These bowls are super sturdy and make very stylish companions to a yummy bowl of noodles! You can see some examples of what our students have created in the studio during their 3-hour workshops. Depending on each individual's pace, each person is usually able to create a single ramen bowl with accompanying chopstick rests and/or sauce dishes. We also see folks glaze their pieces to match their new bowl and sometimes they go rogue; that's just the beauty of creative freedom and unique individuals!
